Promotions of Ameet Kamat and Laurence Chen supports new growth initiatives

OLAP Vision, leader of budgeting and forecasting software for law firms and professional services organizations, announces the promotion of two key members of their senior global team. With 2016 off to a rapid start, OLAP Vision has increased focus and investment into their Customer Success initiative and has now announced that Ameet Kamat, will be leading the customer success team in his new role as Vice President of Global Services and Customer Success. Ameet previously held the position of Director, Global Services and has been instrumental in leading a team focused on providing law firms with exceptional, unmatched services that help enhance the competitive advantage of firms. Ameet extends his expertise to lead the Customer Success team focused on customer experience and the business of law.

2016 also bodes to be another exciting year for OLAP Vision on the product development front. With raving reviews around the success of xcelerate, the development teams have been ramping up to continue to innovate and provide new features for customers. Laurence Chen’s promotion to Vice President of Product Management further solidifies the trajectory of growth for the xcelerate software platform. AK_nologoLRAmeet Kamat: As Vice President of Global Services & Customer Success, Ameet is responsible for outstanding implementation delivery, with a focus on customer satisfaction, to provide the right solution the first time, on-time and on-budget. He is well known amongst Elite software users and has a proven track record of success with over eight years of experience in leading and managing Thomson Reuters Elite Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting solutions for 3E and Enterprise. As a former developer of the IBM Clarity solution, his unique mix of technical know-how and strong business acumen has helped clients successfully streamline their budgeting and reporting processes from FRx, spreadsheets, and in-house systems. Ameet is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Computer Engineering.

LCLawrence Chen: As Vice President of Product Management, Laurence leads a global team focused on delivering outstanding customer service, flexible software solutions and building lasting relationships with customers. Laurence’s customer centric approach is based on a foundation of collaboration and inclusiveness as he oversees the successful delivery of software solutions for Thomson Elite customers. Laurence has over a decade of experience leading complex business intelligence solution implementations globally for a wide range of industries. He is trusted as an advisor on best practices to many of the world’s largest law firms and as a mentor within the organization. As a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a degree in Computer Science, Laurence has a strong reputation as an innovative leader, having held various key leadership roles.
